Includes 10 naturalizing species of native wildflowers that tend to be short-lived but a bit rambunctious in reseeding or spreading by roots plus 1 native grass species selected to provide constant and overlapping flowering for our valued pollinators in a sun-part sun, dry-moist "cottage garden".  For me a "cottage garden" is one where the gardener allows the plants to find their own niches with some gentle editing in spring to eliminate any rogue reseeding or spreading.

Species to include:

(No substitutions requests please, though substitutions may be necessary if poor germination.)

Early Flowering:  Erigeron pulchellus (Robin's Plantain), Prunella vulgaris ssp. lanceolata (Lance Self-Heal), Tradescantia ohiensis (Ohio Spiderwort).

Mid-Season Flowering:  Pycnanthemum tenufolium (Slender Mountain Mint), Eutrochium purpureum (Spotted Joe-Pye Weed), Eupatorium perfoliatum (Boneset), Monarda fistulosa (Wild Bergamot).

Late Flowering:  Solidago speciosa (Showy Goldenrod), Symphyotrichum ericoides (Heath Aster), Rudbeckia laciniata (Green-Headed Coneflower).

Native Grass:  Andropogon geradii (Big Bluestem).
