Notes:  Boltonia astersoides (False Aster) naturalizes through rhizomatous roots creating a tall mass of late white to pink or light purple tiny daisy-like flowers, sure to attract an abundance of butterflies.

Noted as deer-resistant by UVM. 

Native to most of states east of the Mississippi and through much of the central and Northwest US:  Biota of North America Program (BONAP) – North American Plant Atlas (NAPA).
