Notes: This is the native lupine that Karner Blue Butterflies need to survive. Unfortunately it crosses easily with hybrids and the resulting new babies are not digestible to the Karner Blue larvae. Plant no more hybrids! Short-lived but reseeds readily. Seeds quite toxic
