Notes: Eurybia macrophylla   (Big Leaf Aster) is a wild aster with large fuzzy leaves nick-named Lumberjack Toilet Paper, forming a dense ground cover in rich woods.  Host to the Pearl Crescent.  Our experience is that Eurbyia macrophylla can be so aggressive that it may outcompete other desired plants, so have removed it from the shade collection but highly recommend is as a solo ground cover under shade trees.

Andrena canadensis (Canada Miner bee)

Native to Northeast (RARE IN RI), Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest:  Biota of North American Program (BONAP) - North America Plant Atlas (NAPA).
