Notes: Filipendula rubra (Queen of the Prairie) is a showy, statuesque naturalizing perennial with large pink plumes attracting lots of butterflies. It can handle full sun, but the leaves can scorch if the soil is dry.
Noted as deer-resistant by UVM.
